"First Love" - African elephants
Drawn from a photograph I took in Kenya back in 2015, they were the first wild elephants I seen in the Masai Mara - one of the top highlights of my whole life! Elephants are my absolute favourite animals and always have been. They are truely incredible to witness in the wild; silent, majestic, graceful and gentle despite their gargantuan size. I usually give my characters names but these had to have the title of "First Love" - it just made sense!
